面粉馃 - "Flour Cake Noodle"

面粉馃 ...A popular noodle dish in South-East Asia in particular Singapore and Malaysia. There are many types of handmade noodles - for instances, Ban Mian (板面), Mee Kia (面仔), and Mee Hoon Kueh (面粉馃) easily available at most food court, hawker centre etc. However, I have tried cooking this dish today and pretty easy :) Enjoy!

Miss Marples Tea Room (Victoria)

An hour from Melbourne Airport towards Mt Dandenong and you will find this place with delighted and amazing food near Sassafras. It feels like we were still living in the 50s/60s with hot scones and mushroom soup (Refer attached pictures). Oh, the Christmas in July menu is an absolutely killing dish! Note: the waiting time to get in is usually 2 hours during busy hours.

Address: 382 Mt Dandenong Tourist Road, Sassafras 3787 open daily from 11am to 4:30pm.

Perfection

Sometimes in life, we wonder about someone who holds the word Perfectionism ...

If you are a perfectionist you're likely to feel frustrated, irritated and dissatisfied much more than a person who is easy going. It's hard to achieve perfection some of the time, so attempting to achieve it all of the time is only setting yourself and others up to fail. It's great to have high standards because they lift performance, but reacting negatively to the non-achievement of such high standards will inevitably bring unhappiness to you and those around you ...

Golden Lessons in Life

Written By Regina Brett, 90 years old, of The Plain Dealer, Cleveland , Ohio :
1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.
2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.
3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
4. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and parents will. Stay in touch.
5. Pay off your credit cards every month.
6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.
8. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it.
9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck.
10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.
11. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.
12. It's OK to let your children see you cry.
13. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it.
15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don't worry; God never blinks.
16. Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.
17. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.
18. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.
19. It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else.
20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.
21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
22. Over prepare, then go with the flow.
23. Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple.
24. The most important sex organ is the brain.
25. No one is in charge of your happiness but you.
26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words ''In five years, will this matter?".
27. Always choose life.
28. Forgive everyone everything.
29. What other people think of you is none of your business.
30. Time heals almost everything. Give time, time.
31. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
32.. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
33. Believe in miracles.
34. God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do.
35.. Don't audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.
36. Growing old beats the alternative -- dying young.
37. Your children get only one childhood.
38. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.
39. Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.
40. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'd grab ours back.
41. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
42. The best is yet to come.
43. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
44. Yield.
45. Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift.

Pets in style :)

Bob had the "luxury" of putting on different clothes during winter. Somehow he did not mind at all and even offered his paw with intention of making your life a little easier. This statement of course - is the human being's interpretation!! :)

Sushi Time :)

Being a food-lover myself, resisting something superb yet value for money is difficult! My friend and I have found this Japanese restaurant located in Redfern to be magnificent. Please don't expect the customer service to be 10/10 as they are pretty busy during peak hours.

As a fact, it doesn't break your wallet and I can guarantee that you can walk out of the restaurant with a tummy you can barely move Usually we would order a dinner set comprising:

2 Serve of Sushi Sashimi

One big plate of many sushi..s

Agedashi Tofu

Miso Soup

Yakitori

Ice-Cream

Green Tea

Warning: Never order the seaweed salad unless you have 4 people or more. My friend and I wasted half of the salad as we can't finish the mountain full of green healthy stuff.

Next thing anyone would ask me is ... HOW much? All that for approx $40 AUD :)

A Picture ...

A picture can be defined as a person, object, or scene that typifies or embodies an emotion, state of mind, or mood. Attached pictures could signify the contentment of someone holding him tight, the sense of security .... nonetheless, Bob was eager to go home that night :)

New Purchase today!

Needless to say any further, the economy is still shitting in the pants, thus many retailers have been forced to extend posting the word SALE on their windows. Being in this situation, a "sucky" & unwise consumer like me has acquired 2 pairs of shoes considering it is pretty comfy. Well, that leaves another big hole in my wallet =( ... have fun with the pictures :)

Thought of the day

Many times, in order to survive we have to start a change process. We sometimes need to get rid of old memories, habits and other past traditions. Only freed from past burden can we take full advantage of the present...
